Kodiak Cakes began as a family recipe poured into brown paper bags and hand-delivered via a little red wagon. Based on the original flapjack tradition designed to fill the stomachs of lumberjacks tirelessly working on the frontier, Kodiak Cakes are packed with enough protein and whole grains to sustain you well through a day of felling timber. 

Sound too hearty for modern stomachs? Think again. 

Though most of us have traded our axes for laptops, we still crave a satisfying breakfast to give our day the best possible start. We developed the new brand tagline Nourishment for Today’s Frontier to bridge the gap between a generation who toiled outside in search of a new adventure and a generation who spend their days exploring new frontiers; be it starting a new business, teaching our kids to ride a bike, or finally getting around to digging up those weeds in the backyard.

We worked with Kodiak Cakes to take this tagline and apply this story of the modern frontier to packaging copy, a full website redesign, and even an ad campaign (featuring a real life, 1,700 lb. bear).
