Named after the only East-West running mountain range in the country, Uinta Brewing does things a little differently. Unlike other craft breweries, their beer isn’t a destination in itself, but a willing accomplice on the adventures we take. It doesn’t sit in a fridge awaiting your return; you take Uinta on the journey with you.

It was this idea of beer being an “accomplice in adventure” that guided a complete redesign of their packaging, new website copy, and even developing new products that better fit this new brand positioning. Serving as Creative Director, I led a team of designers in reworking the packaging to encourage drinkers to emulate the outdoor scenes depicted on the cans.

Through the website redesign, we focused on quick hits of information for easy decision making at the beer cooler so you can get out and get on with your adventure. All through it, we injected a sense of personality into the beer that makes it an “instigator,” inspiring drinkers to go outside their comfort zone by going just a little further down the trail.
